Katrin Gülden Le Maire is a strategic advisor and independent scientific researcher with more than 20 years experience in various European markets. She works across all industries and sectors, with special expertise in finance. She accompanies and guides organisations with their market entries, in crisis and change situations as well as in their overall strategy development. 

Katrin has expanded her services to advise companies on the ethical challenges within their digital/technological strategies, service and product offering. Her interest and expertise is especially in the subject of Governance. She consults on CSR, ESG and Impact Investment initiatives and proposes tailor made programmes, solutions and impact theses. Katrin is acutely aware of the ongoing financial industry challenges to implement standards measuring social return results and the hurdles companies face to measure those in the light of ongoing digitalisation and reindustrialisation efforts. She has been nominated as board member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on ESG in Westminster in 2022.

Additionally, Katrin conducts scientific research, focusing on Cyber Ethics, democracy development and social cohesion as well as epistemology. She is a member of the board of the FIIT Institut at the Ruprecht Karls-Universität Heidelberg in Germany. Katrin works and publishes interdisciplinary and intersystemically in German, English and French. She has lived several years in London (1995-2003), had an established consulting business in Frankfurt (2007 - 2017) and is based in Paris. 

Katrin holds the CFA ESG Investing Certificate (CFA Institute), a Diploma in Financial Management from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA); she has an Executive Masters in Communications from Rotterdam School of Management and completed her Doctorate in Philosophy at Middlesex University London. She is also a trained theologian. Katrin applies elements of the EKS® Strategie, a successful German cybernetic management theory, to her work.  

Katrin has been involved in pro bono business ethics initiatives and training of organisations in the UK, France and Germany for 20 years.
